We aim to present opportunities to young artists so that they may experience showing their work in a gallery setting, thus helping them build a good foundation for their future work in the field of art.
The gallery also supports the work of South Broadway Art Project. SBAP is a 501c3 non-profit, visual art studio and organization located in South St. Louis co-founded by Tim and Sarah Bliss. The partnership is a natural one as Sarah and Tim Bliss are our daughter and son-in-law. Sarah Bliss, Executive Director: “We have a mission to teach young people and adults how to enhance their own lives and their community through art.”
The day to day operations of Sole Survivor Art Gallery are a team effort of the Rye family and all the artists without whom the gallery would not exist.
